New York City DOT's Connected Vehicle Pilot Update

New York City Department of Transportation's (NYCDOT) latest connected vehicle pilot update webinar is now available. Code On's RLNC Technology is key to the project's OTA update functionality for Roadside units (RSU) and onboard units (OBU) on vehicles.

Testing conducted in August proved OTA updates are working effectively to deliver updates to devices in vehicles moving around NYC as well as static RSUs.

Approx. 1000 devices are already up and running. Great work from all the vendors and NYCDOT in reaching this milestone and we look forward to sharing more positive results once installations are complete for all 8000+ devices.
